As communities around the nation respond to the global coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, we invite health care providers, pregnant and breastfeeding families, and all public health stakeholders to share how the pandemic is impacting the infant feeding experience.
Accurate and timely information about preventing and treating COVID-19 is essential to overcoming this global crisis. USBC's highest priority right now is assessing the lived experience of breastfeeding families and those who support them.
The situation is constantly evolving, and stories are critically needed to inform the USBC's efforts as we seek to minimize the impact of this virus on breastfeeding families. Updates from community members on the ground are critical to understanding how the policy landscape is impacting the lived experience of families, especially at birth and during the first six months of life.
Unless you choose to share anonymously, story submissions will display at the bottom of this page with first name, last initial, and state.
Stories will be used by the USBC to call attention to the need to protect, promote, and support breastfeeding during emergencies, and every day. Stories may be used for a variety of purposes, including in conversations with stakeholder organizations, Congress, policymakers, and the media, and in future USBC action campaigns, blogs, articles, etc.
Complete the form below to share your insights. Note: Due to limitations of this software, only one story can be submitted per email address.
